Barry White

Ever since I was a little boy living in Plainfield I always listening to the radio I was always listening to this song that goes like "Can't get enough of your love babe." I can remember how I fell in love with the harmony of the song the sweet rythmic beats made just get up and sing it just like him.

Barry White has been my hero ever since I was little he has always been there when times are rough with women and made me feel better listening to his words. From my point of view Barry White overcomes any obsticle that goes thru his way.

The reason Barry White is my hero is because he kind of lived the same life like me coming out of the gutter and moving on up like the Jefersons so that kind of symbolises me. The qualities that qualify him to be my hero would be that he is cool he's got pazaz, and he's the biggest pimp the world has ever known. He pretty much inspired a lot of the pimp movement in New York.

Born September 12, 1944, Galveston, Texas Barry White's intrest for music started when he was 4 years old, so that explains his life long love for the symphonic music but,during his teens hehad a little run in with the police and was incarcerated during his mid-teens.That didn't stop Barry White upon return from jail he strove to change his life and 2 days later upon his return he got a call from his friend asking him to join their band called "Th Upfronts" This was the pivotal point from his carrer. Later in a few years in 1966 he became the road manager for Jakie "The Duck" Lee and later that year became A&R for Mustang/Bronco records. Haveing been around entertainers his whole life he learned by their mistakes so in the 1970's when he rose his rules were well established.

When Barry White rose it was a cool sound that he brought with him with a deep voice and a chubby apearance he became the biggest sex symbol their was in the 70's. The song "Can't get enough of your love babe" was a #1 hit in 1974 so back then he did pretty good
