George Herman Ruth

Babe Ruth was born in february the 6th 1895 and died in August 16th 1948. He bats and throws left hand and made his debut with the Red Sox, winning 89 games in six years while setting the World Series record for consecutive scoreless innings."the babe changed to play outfeild fulltime just after he was soled to the yankees in 1920 for four payments of $25,000plusinterest and a $300,000 loan.The Red sox were considered the greatest team in baseball history in 1927.

Ruth shattered his home-run record in 1920, belting 54 (no other player had more then 19).only the one team the Philadelphia Phillies, hit-more homres. After the Black Sox scandle, ruth set another home run record for the third consecutiveseason, blasting 59 in 1921 then in 1927 he broke his own record of 59 and made it amagical number of 60

The name "Babe Ruth" is synonymous with two other words , "home run".Even his nicknames, such as "The Sultan of Swat"and "The Bambino",seem majestic. This is the man who truly made baseball the national pastime, the kid who started out looking like a hall of fame left-handed pitcher with the Boston Red Sox Who became a hall of fame Left-handed hitting outfield with the New York Yankees.
