Mr. Baron is the kind of guy you need when you’re in a dilemma. He was there for my family and me whenever we needed something from the grocery store or if something was broken. He was always there. He was a great guy.
We would go out to breakfast on Sundays after church and do really cool things. When I had difficulty with my homework, he would help me with it. We both loved trains so we would go out to train stores and look at trains. We would go to the movies, play games and things like that. That's why I have picked him as my hero.
It was a Monday morning in winter and every weekday morning my mom and him would go to the mall and walk around inside three times for exercise.
One morning my mom woke up late and got to the mall later than usual. When she got there she saw him right inside the door. He was breathing very hard. My mom asked him to sit down so he did. Then it hit him.
He was barely breathing now. My mom shouted, “Someone call 911!” In about 5 minutes the ambulance arrived. They rushed him to the hospital. Basically he had a heart attack. Two hours later he died.
Because of all the things he did, he will always be remembered in a special way on January 20 every year.
He died on January 20, 2003.
I will always remember him as an angel.
