Hello. I'm Stefan and I'm a big time wrestling fan. The following person I am going to tell you about is my hero and I just want to thank this man for giving 100% of what he has in everything he does. This man is Chris Benoit.

Chris Benoit is a Professional Wrestler. He has worked in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Germany, ECW, WCW, WWF, and now the WWE. Chris Benoit was born in Montreal, Quebec on May 21, 1967. He was then raised in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Chris was a well behaved kid, he had a passion for sports and was always up for a challenge, you could say. His main sport was football. When Chris was about 12 he went to his first ever live wrestling event to see Dynamite Kid (who was his favorite wrestler as a kid). That night after the bout, he set his sites on becoming a professional wrestler. The rest is history.

This Man is my hero because he puts all he has in his matches to entertain the fans. He has earned all his nicknames. Chris has always fought to be the best and he has accomplished a lot in his time. The biggest two are that he is the 2nd man in history to go into the 2004 Royal Rumble as #1 and beat 29 other superstars by throwing them over the top rope to get a chance to go for the title at wrestlemania. He was on Smackdown! at the time but went to Raw in a loophole to challenge HHH for the World Heavy Weight Championship. At the time though, Shawn Michaels had a fuse with Triple H and Shawn got involved with the match so it was a triple treat match for the World Title. Benoit Ended up winning by making HHH tap out to the crippler crossface. Benoit held onto the title for almost 6 months but then lost it. After this happened, 2004 passed by and when 2005 came Benoit jumped back to Smackdown! in the first draft pick. Later on, Benoit went to capture the U.S. Championship there. That is where Benoit is right now if you would wish to see this great man's work that payed off for 18 years to win the World Title. Benoit proves that hard work does pay off and any kid or anyone can look up to him and say that guy is my HERO!
