Caroline b. Cooney is an author who writes many great books. Caroline was born in 1947 and graduated in 1965 soon after she began to write books. Caroline lives in Greenwich, Connecticut. She has three grown children.
Caroline Cooney writes many great books for ex.The Face on The Milk Carton has been turned into a movie. Some of her books come in collections or sequels. The face on the milk carton was on award lists in thirteen states. The inspiration for this book was a missing sign in the airport. She then found out the little girl in the picture would be fifteen.
Sixth grade is when Caroline started to write. Each week each student got a picture from a magazine and would write a story to go with this picture. She then wrote through most of her teens. Many of her books got turned down by the publisher. She kept tring. She never gave up hope and that's what makes her such a great writer. Most of Caroline's books are for young adults. She did write one for elementary school but she says she likes writing longer books with more details. Here's a list of some of her books:
Flash Fire, Freeze Tag, Wanted, What happend to Jannie, Vampires promise, The Cheerleaders,Etc.
Caroline is my hero because one day I would like to be a writer like her.
