John Cena

by Orlando from Romeoville, Illinois

I picked John Cena as my hero because he does a lot for people, and he has a funny sense of humor. John Cena had to do a lot of exercises to become a wrestler. When John Cena got on the WWE show, he really got good at wrestling. He also joined the Marines. To be a Marine, it takes a lot of strength and skill. John Cena is my hero for two reasons. The first reason is because he sacrificed himself by entering the WWE show. It took John Cena a lot of training just to be a professional wrestler. John Cena won his first title, called the “WWE Championship” on Smack down. Then John Cena moved from Smack down to Raw. Then, John Cena decided to go back to the Marines.

When John Cena started to wrestle, people thought he was going to lose all the time, but he didn’t care what people said. The only thing ha cared about was doing his best. The first time I met John Cena was when I was in the hospital with Asthma. I asked him how does it feel to be a wrestler? He told me that it was a lot of work, and that sometimes you win matches and sometimes you lose them. If I’m determined to do something, to not give up. Keep on trying. That’s all you need to be a marine. He told me that I’ll maybe become a marine myself too, because I’m fighting my Asthma. Fighting my Asthma is harder than being a marine, and if I get out of the hospital all cured and fine that would be amazing to the Marines.

He also told me that he overcomes his fear by telling himself and the other Marines that nobody’s perfect. Try your best and you will do great. When John Cena got good at wrestling I started to think he was selfish and wrestling was the only thing he cared about, but when he was telling everyone about not giving up and to keep on trying I started to realized he wasn’t selfish. John Cena inspires me because he told me never to give up and overcome my Asthma. That’s why John Cena is my hero.

The Champ’s Life John Cena was born in April 23, 1977 in West Newbury Massachusetts. When John Cena was 18 years old he attended Springfield College in Springfield where he earned a degree in exercise physiology, were he joined the football team After John Cena moved to California to work at Gold’s gym, John Cena enrolled in a wrestling school run by Ultimate Pro Wrestling and started wrestling there under the name White boy Reggie. After John Cena was wrestling in the UPW the WWE were trying to get John Cena to enter the WWE. In 2000 John enrolled in the WWE and won his first title called the “United States Championship.” Then John Cena was stripped of the United States title and was forced to get a shot at winning the “WWE Championship.” Then John Cena won the “WWE Championship” in Wrestlemania 21 in 2003.
