A hero never gives up. The hero I chose was Julio Cesar Chavez because he is a warrior. When he was losing a fight, he never gave up and often ended up winning. Julio is a Hall of Fame boxer.
Julio Cesar Chavez was born July 12, 1962 in Ciudad Obregon Sonora,Mexico. Julio is known for his boxing. What I admire about him is when things got rough he never gave up. His famous punch was a left hook to the body. Julio was exciting to watch because he threw punches non-stop. Julio was known throughout the years as one of the world's best pound-for-pound boxer.
Julio Cesar Chavez was one of the first to protest the kidnappings in Mexico. He did this because kidnappers attempted to kidnap one of Julio's son. Julio Cesar Chavez helped families get houses when the earthquake hit in Mexico City, Mexico. The first time I saw Julio Cesar Chavez was when he fought Meldrick Taylor. He was losing on the score cards but in the final 15 seconds he knocked Taylor out. Ever since then he has been my hero.
These are some of Julio's accomplishments. Julio Cesar Chavez represented Mexico in the Olympics. Julio went out with Salma Hayek. Julio Cesar Chavez is in the national boxing Hall of Fame. His son is now a professional himself. Julio’s most famous punch was the left hook to the body.
Julio was born to be a fighter. He fought almost every day as a child in Mexico. He is now 44 years old, watching his son fight. Julio will go down as one of the best in the business of boxing. A hero is someone who doesn’t show weakness. Julio Cesar Chavez will always be remembered by his beloved Mexican fans.
