A hero to me is someone who is artistic. He is great at what he loves to do. He is someone who will do what it takes to make all of his dreams come true, and someone who has done something to help someone else. Claudio Sanchez is my hero because he is the best guitar player in the world. His hair is awesome, he’s hot, he has drive, and he is amazing at writing and playing his own music.

Claudio Paul Sanchez was born on March 12, 1978, in Nogales, Mexico. He is a mix of Puerto Rican and Italian, and has three brothers and sisters. He was raised Roman Catholic and grew up a very quiet and shy person. He still is, aside of his stage personality.

In 1995, he started a band called “Shabutie.” In 2001, the name was changed to Coheed and Cambria; also a few members were changed. In 2006, Coheed and Cambria had to cancel a few European tours because Claudio broke his hand rough-housing with his younger brother, Matthew, who is a professional boxer. As soon as he was healed, he was back playing the music again.

Claudio Sanchez is the lead singer and guitarist for Coheed and Cambria. He writes all the lyrics. The band has released three albums: "Second Stage Turbine Blade," "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3," and "Good Apollo I’m Burning Star 5: Volume One: From Fear Through Eyes of Madness." Coheed and Cambria also has a comic series called “The Bag Line Adventures.”

A hero to me is someone who is artistic; he is great at what he loves to do. Heroes are also people who will do what it takes to make all of their dreams come true, and people who have done something for someone else. Claudio Sanchez meets all of these requirements. He has been very successful in life and I hope to do the same. Claudio Sanchez isn’t just my hero, he is my role model.
