“Dear Dad” Synopsis: When I was ten, I was five minutes late leaving swim practice because I had waited for a friend. To my dad, this was unforgivable. As I ran to the car, he barked at me that I was late and peeled out without me so I had to walk home in the cold in my wet swimsuit. When you’re ten, you blame yourself for these things. I hope if any adults read this, they will think twice how they punish their children. And if you are a peer, know you are not alone.
