I think Jennie Finch is an amazing pitcher and softball player. She attended the University of Arizona and had an amazing career there. In her freshman year she received the Women's College World Series Most Outstanding Player Award. She also plays for the U.S.A Olympic softball team. I think many girls who play softball look up to her. She is an amazing player who has accomplished many great things.
Jennie Finch was born on September 9, 1980. She started playing softball when she was five years old. Her first league was called L'il Miss T-ball in her hometown of La Mirada, California. Jennie had great hand-eye coordination and excellent speed. Her arm was the thing that caught most people's eyes. She could throw the ball harder than anyone in her age group. As Jennie improved, her dad became more aware of Jennie's ability to play softball and became her own personal coach.

In closing, I think that Jennie Finch is an amazing role model for women athletes. She not only has talent but she also has a great personality. Jennie Finch has also brought a lot of attention to girls' sports. Now female athletes have more respect and are taken more serously.
