Gordon Nyabade

“Besides my work as a pastor I am also in charge of Go Fishnet Ministries which is reaching communities and sensitizing them on the need of education especially in areas whereby HIV/AIDS has affected the community.”

Gordon Ondiek Nyabade is a pastor and teacher in his homeland of Kenya. In addition to his outreach programs visiting other countries, he is working to keep another project, Go Fishnet Ministries growing. Gordon Nyabade is an advocate of education for all young people. Through Go Fishnet Ministries, he reaches out to children in communities of his home country of Kenya, Africa, whose parents are suffering with, or have died from the HIV virus and AIDS. The children in these communities are in need of financial support, especially to help them attend school. Gordon Nyabade visits these young people and encourages them to go to school and assists them in finding the right opportunities.

Gordon explained to MY HERO that, "Go Fishnet Ministries is a very young ministry that needs a great deal of help...There should be other ways and means of getting the money to continue education. I reach out in the communities and I sensitize the young people who are affected by HIV, who are affected by poverty...and I tell them that they should go to school."

Gordon must walk twenty miles to different villages to reach orphans and children whose parents are suffering from AIDS. He knows that education is the best way to prevent the spread of aids in his community. Gordon needs a motorcycle to help him with his outreach efforts. Any one who wants to assist Gordon and his work should contact : Gordon Nyabade at gonyabade@yahoo.com

Extra Info

I submit this message to all the fellow ministers and friends to come in and help our ministry [Go Fishnet Ministries] which touches the plight of Beer bar-maids,parking-girls and prostitutes along with girls in crisis such as rape victims, culturally violated girls,HIV/AIDS victims. This is a young ministry in KENYA [E.Africa] and we move into the most profound private corners of our towns where these girls are and we minister love and hope to these hurting souls! It is a very sensitive work because it involves a lot of risk traveling in such places to get these girls. We know that they can not come so we go to where they are!! That is where we got the name GO FISHNET because we must go and fish them out through the net which is God's Word.

So far we have 3 co-workers and won 15 girls with whom we have placed under our care. We provide free food, clothing and accommodations to them and plan to train them in various things like tailoring, farming, computers, etc. so that they can be responsible for their own lives in the future! We desperately need support and assistance with their needs, thus, we kindly post these needs for assistance!

Any help or assistance can be directed to:

If my motherland,
dear country and the world
Oh Black, Oh White and Brown
HIV/AIDS is killing us!
Who can avoid it, before the world is swept!
Dear children, young and the old alike
Say a big NO to AIDS!
