İn this drawing i wanted to draw not only my but also the hero of all Turks"ATATÜRK".He is the founder and first president of turkey.Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is a Turkish marshal, statesman, writer, commander-in-chief of the Turkish War of Independence, founder and first president of the Republic of Turkey. He undertook comprehensive progressive reforms that transformed Turkey into a secular, industrialized nation. The influence of ataturk is felt even today. The great leader ataturk express the value he gives to women in society at every opportunity with the words"Everything we see on the face is the work of women"Also,he was the prionering leader who gave women the right to vote and to be elected.Making Turkey one of the first countries in the world to recognize women's political rights.Atatürk one said "Heroic Turkish women ,you are not destined to crawl on the ground, but to rise to the skies." I love and adore Atatürk so much because he was really intelligent and good hearted. He was into art, history, science, fashion etc.He once said that " if a nation is deprived of art and artist, it cannot own a full life. One of life veins of a nation without art would be cut off", "The artist is the first person to fell the light on his forehead after long struggles and ettorts in society."and to support art,he established many art institutions across our country.Atatürk ,who had an image for ahead of his time, was a man of style admired even by today's top fashion designers. Atatürk's interest in fashion began in his childhood. One day,he saw a soldier in a military uniform, and caught his attention so much that he went home and told his mother ,"I want to become a soldier".Eventually,he managed to convince her. After entering military school,he immediately recognized as a disciplined, intelligent, and natural leader. In fact, one of his teachers at that school gave him the name of "Kemal"(Mustafa Kemal) because he was impressed by his intelligence."Kemal" means perfection and maturity.(Actually ,there are many speculations about why the name was given, and this is one of them)Atatürk raised awareness about fashion not only in terms of aesthetics ,but also in terms of functionality. The hat, for instance, was a symbol of social status and played a significant role in communication, especially in the basic act of greeting. Also according to Sabiha Gokcen,(a Turkish pilot who is the world's first female fighter pilot ,according to the Guinness World Records. Also Sabiha Gokcen international airport in istanbul is named after her .)all military uniforms were designed by Atatürk himself, except for the pilot leather jackets used in Turkkusu(the aviation school founded by Ataturk). The talent in Coco Chanel also caught his attention. It is said that French fashion icon Coco Chanel contributed to the design of the Turkish Armed Forces uniforms.Historically,it is known that Atatürk has a strong interest in languages.Although not confirmed with certainty, he was able to speak German,English,Russian,French,Arabic,Bulgarian,Persian as fluent as Turkish. In addition to many other languages,Atatürk was also familiar with Japanese,Italian,Greek and Latin and understending multiple languages.Ataturk finished an avarage one book every five days during his life.Even on his way to the battlefield,Atatürk was known to carry bags filled with books. He didn't just read books, he took notes he took were turned into 24 books, each book took about 500 pages long.In his 57 years of life including around 11 wars, 24 medals, 13 books, and creating founding at an independent nation.According to known records, 23 different countries have issued stamps in his honor; in 35 countries, there are 54 statues or monuments dedicated to Atatürk, with each country hosting between one and six.Additionally, nearly 120 streets and more than 30 public squares around the world are named after him. These tributes show that Atatürk is not only a national hero but also a global hero at leadership, vision and resilience that's also why i wanted to draw him as a hero. The influence at Atatürk is felt even today. Many people were inspired by Ataturk's words."You know, your country created the greatest leader of the century" -Albert Einstein. Also Elon Musk tweeted about him several times and visited his mousoelum"if one day my words are against science, choose science"-Atatürk. And also he said about him three broken ribs, A pierred lung and still he fought.Ataturk, who combined his intelligence and genius with strong discipline and hard work, was a brilliant soldier(his rank was Field Marshal which is the most senior and highest military rank .)and therefore, very few people are assigned too this rank.In the history of Turkey,Ataturk was one at only two commanders who achieved this rank on the battlefield, a visionary leader in creating and governing a nation, and a man of exceptional foresight that he predicted the outbreak of the Second World War and more...“To understand and truly see me does not simply mean to look at my face. If you can feel my thoughts, ideals, and emotions, that is enough."This quote highlights Atatürk’s emphasis on ideas, principles, and intellectual legacy. For him, what truly matters is not his physical presence, but the continuation of his ideas. It wouldn’t have been enough to express how much of a hero he is for me and for our country just through my emotions. That’s why I wanted to include many of his words and thoughts in my writing.I hope I was able to introduce my hero to you in a meaningful way—and perhaps even help him become a hero not just for me, but for many others as well.
