i would jus like to say thank you for your help in changing black history and allowing us coloreds to have something to be proud of and to go out anywhere and look good. Mrs. Walker is an inspriation to me and my peers because we would be walkn aroung looking like we dont know what to do so i just want to thank you Mrs. Walker for all your inventions and for you in believeing in your self because you didnt have to make anything but you did.

I would like to thank Mrs. Walker for her allowing to make products that we use today because with out her are hair would be nappy and a mess. She allowed me to want to fulfill my dream in becoming a cosmotolgist and i look up to her as a role model and ima keep pushing myself to invent a hair product everyone would use no matter what color. i thank her for allowing us coloreds to have good looking hair and to look jus as good as anybody else.

I would like to thank Madame CJ Walker because she is an inspiration to me. With out her there would probably be no ivention of the hair products. Also she showed that no matter where you came from you can still succeed in any thing that you want to do.

For those who say "I love her products" How can you say that when her proucts are no longer in stock since 1985? Let's be real shall we. So for that comment ....I thank her for her breakthrough in history for women of color.

i respect her for what she has did for the treatment for our hair..but I think the perm was a bad move..because what people don't realize is that even though you say "I like my hair straight adn/or relaxed," it's because you have conformed to "the white man's" expectations or you are imitating someone else. Just be you. So, even though Madam CJ Walker deserves acknowledgement for her inventions, if I could go back I would tell her not to invent the perm...but still make her other contributions.

Hi, my school does this thing evry year where all the grade six students must do a biogrpahy project. Ihad no idea who to do, but then i remembered the movie Beauty Shop and it srta talks about madame cj walker and i decided to do her. I never knew how amazing she really was i'm so happy i chose her as my person for the biography!

I think the late Madame CJ Walker was an excellent trendsetter for all African American Women who care a lot about their hair. To me, she is the great one and she will always be the great one.

I will always honor Madam C.J. Walker for her hair care ideas and inventions because if she didnt african americans hair would be out of line and off track and the perm and the hot comb was a life saver for us.
