Oswaldo Javier Sanchez Ibarra

My hero is Oswaldo Sanchez Ibarra. He is a famous soccer goalie and he is my hero because he plays for Chivas, my favorite Mexican team and because he is one of the best goalies in Mexico.

Oswaldo Sanchez has done many good things. He was the goalie for Mexico in many international competitions and it takes a lot to be goalie for your country. Oswaldo Sanchez has played with Chivas for most of his professional career. Oswaldo has been the best goalie of Mexico on many occasions and I think he is the best goalie in Mexico.

He took Chivas to the championship around two years ago but they lost in penalties against a very good team. I am not sure, but my best guess is that he lives in Guadalajara, Mexico because that is the town where Chivas plays. Oswaldo Sanchez is a great goalie and I hope he continues being great. Chivas would not be as good a team if they did not have Oswaldo Sanchez.

Chivas is one of the Mexican teams to participate in the Copa Libertadores (an international football cup competition played annually by the top clubs of South America) and I think they are there not just because of Oswaldo Sanchez, but because of the whole team. Still, he is always pushing the team to do their best and he does a tremendous job being a goalie. I think he is going to be the goalie for Mexico at the World Cup and I think he deserves to be the goalie. He has a hard job because he is in two competitions right now. He is in the Copa Libertadores while playing the regular season with Chivas. Pretty soon, (in 2006) he might be playing for the Mexican team at the World Cup. Oswaldo Sanchez is alive today and he enjoys playing soccer. These are the reasons why Oswaldo Sanchez is very important to me.
