Joe Torree

What exactly is a hero? It could be someone who is looked up to by many or just one person. A hero could be someone who is admired just because of simple deeds they do. They can change the way we look at life, ourselves, or how we achieve our goals. Heroes can be perused as one of the greatest people in a person's life and they earn that title by providing a strong influence. This certain person may not be a hero to one, but could change the life of someone else.

I have come across many people who have left impressions on my life. Meeting someone face to face or hearing them speak about issues allows people to form conclusions about them. Joe Torre is one of the most influencial person in my life. He has overcome many struggles emotionally and physically. Never giving up is a lesson that I constantly live by and Joe Torre has proved that life is worth living; giving up is not worth it.

Throughout life, Joe Torre was faced with many challenging obstacles, such as death in the family, problems with his players, and being diagnosed with prostate cancer. He made it through every time and came out of every situation with a smile. Torre fought it all, just to be an example to everyone else who was fighting the same thing. Determination and perseverence is what I see most in my hero, Joe Torre.

To me, heroes share the same interstets as their fans. When Joe was younger, he was attached to the game of baseball. He became a baseball player for his carrer and has not given it up yet. Following in his footsteps is something I will do because Toree chose something that he enjoyed and has stuck to it ever since. His dream of winning the World Series has come true many times. Just like Joe, I set dreams and someday I will make them become reality.

If it weren't for heroes, we would not be able to change the way we think, live or act. Heroes play a tremendous part in everyones life, even if they don't realize it. The decisions we make are influenced by our heroes. Always remember, you may not realize it, but you could be someones hero. "Many people will walk in and out of our life, but only the true ones will leave footprints in your heart."
