Jean Moulin

by Alexia. W from France

133004Jean MoulinWikipédiaJean Moulin was born on June 20, 1899 in Bézier, and he died on July 8, 1945 in Metz. He worked as a civil servant. Moreover he was a French resistance fighter during World War II. In addition to that, he was the leader of the National Resistance Council. That's why he met Charles de Gaulle on October 25, 1941. He was the bravest person ever. Indeed he fought against the Nazi occupation.

Unfortunately, he was captured by SS and he was tortured. He died because of the atrocity of torture. In my opinion Jean Moulin is a hero because he fought for the liberty of France and he never gave up. He was the most courageous person I can think of.
