What is a hero? I think a hero is someone will never give up, and he/she is working hard for his/her dreams.

That is why Jeremy Lin is my hero.

Jeremy Lin is a NBA basketball player who is Chinese but lives in America. He was born in a Chinese family in America, there are five people in his family, his father, his mother, his sister, his brother and him. His mother was a strict woman because she wanted her kids to become successful  people, so she always made Jeremy practice the piano, but his father thought his kids could play and have fun when they were little, so he usually played basketball with Jeremy, and it interested Jeremy. Although Jeremy lived in America, some of his classmates still laughed at him because he is Chinese, that made Jeremy feel sad, but he didn't give up, He studied hard and got great grades on every test, he practiced basketball hard, too.

When he was in Harvard playing for the university team, he got 1483 points, 487 rebounds, 406 assists and 225 steals, it was awesome. When he graduated, Golden State Warriors invited him to their team. He still practiced basketball hard because many players still laughed at him because he is Taiwanese, but he didn't give up. Finally he became an excellent player in the NBA, he achieved his dream, and he is still playing basketball now. He is my hero.

When I was reading his story, I was surprising about it because I thought he would have given up,

But he didn't. Why he was still working hard? I don't know, but I should learn something from him, like practicing hard, never giving up and believing in yourself. We can also be heroes.
