Jeanne Meyers
Ken Koslow was my love. He was the kindest man I ever met. He was admired by all who knew him. He was a devoted partner, friend, mentor, son, brother, uncle and grandfather.
He was a creative force and passionate supporter of The MY HERO Project from the very beginning. He cared deeply for the mission and saw the powerful impact that the project had on unsung heroes and those who told their stories.
For the last twenty years, Ken worked as a principle at KFA Architects building award-winning projects for the homeless and overseeing the construction and adaptive reuse of beautiful landmarks in downtown Los Angeles like Eastern Columbia and the Ace Hotel. He was responsible for renovating the historic Barnham Hall at Santa Monica High School and was a mentor to many young architects. Ken was respected by his coworkers for his patience and dedication to meeting challenges with humor and great skill. He studied architecture and real estate and was responsible for helping to grow downtown Los Angeles' rebirth with new housing projects, hotels, homeless shelters and cutting edge adaptive use of vintage buildings.
Ken will stay in our hearts forever.
We are very grateful to all who have contributed support to The MY HERO Project in Ken's honor.
