Michelle Kwan is not only a great skater, but also a hero to many people, especially skaters. She’s had an interesting life, is an outstanding competitor, and is a great example. Michelle is everyone’s idol and also mine!
You probably know Michelle Kwan as a famous women’s figure skater, but there are also some other facts about her. Michelle Kwan was born July 7, 1980 in Torrance, California. Now, Michelle lives in Los Angeles, CA. Her coach is Rafael Artunian and her former coach was Frank Carroll.

Do you want to learn about the results of Michelle Kwan’s competition? She is the 9-time world/national championship gold medalist. I bet you want to know what medals Michelle got in the Olympics. She got one silver medal and one bronze medal at the Olympics. Michelle got her first USFSA silver medal when she was 12 years old.
Michelle is also a great example to many people. She taught ice skating after she rejected a spot on the Olympic team due to the knee and hip injuries. Michelle Kwan wrote some inspirational books about her life and figure skating. As you probably know, she also has excellent sportsmanship. Michelle donated money to a lot of different ice skating rinks. There is also an ice skating rink named after her!
