Ludwig von Beethoven

by Spencer from Saint Paul

Ludwig van Beethoven was considered one of the greatest coposers that ever lived. Beethoven composed many musical pieces including Symphony #9. Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany, on December 6, 1770 (the date is not certain) He died on March 26th, 1827, (the date is not certain) at 5:15pm.

"Applaud friends, the comedy is finished." Beethoven said these words on his death bed on March 26th, the day he died. he said this in Latin, as "Plauditude Amici, comedia finesta est."

I will give a simple life story. When Beethoven was 16, he moved to Vienna to study music with the composer Haydn. After about a year, his mother died. Beethoven then traveled back to Vienna to study music with the great composer Mozart.

Then Beethoven composed hundreds of pieces. Beethoven's brother died, and Beethoven tried to take custudy of his son, Karl. After a few years, Karl commited suicide. He almost died, and he then joined the army. Beethoven died in Vienna on March 6, 1827.

Extra Info

I have liked and enjoyed the music of Ludwig von Beethoven since a very young age. I still enjoy his works over all, so I dedicate this site to none other than Ludwig von Beethoven (1770-1827).
