Mother Teresa

A hero is empathetic, determined and self-disciplined. Many people have two of these qualities but not very many have all three. There was a special person who had all three, and her name was Mother Teresa. Mother Teresa was an empathetic,determined and self-disciplined leader in todays world.

Mother Teresa was empathetic because she was always helping others, giving the poor just about all that she had like her money, she even gave up her life for the poor, she lived on the streets with the poor,she only ate what the poor ate and she only gave herself what what she gave the poor.

Mother Teresa was determined because she wanted to help the other people so much that even if the other people that she was helping, had a disease or were sick or were dieing she just never gave up. She was also very determined because she really just wanted to make the world a better place,and she never gave up on making peace around the world.

Mother Teresa was self-disciplined because when she found the woman dieing on the street, she took her to the hospital and one of the workers said"No she can not come in, she has no money to pay us." Mother Teresa never punched the worker or anything, she had self-discipline. Mother Teresa was self-disciplined because if she was working very hard and she made a mistake she didn't give up or tell the poor that she was leaving. Mother Teresa was also self-disciplined when she arived in Calcutta,India and the streets were filthy and full of sick people. She didn't go to someone and tell them to fix everything right away, she started helping the sick people on her own.

Mother Teresa is my hero because I admire the way she helped other people. I want to be just like Mother Teresa!!!!
