This poster shows us a representation of the activist Malala, who worked to try to give girls in Pakistan the opportunity to go to school. Malala was born in a place where girls were unable to get an education. Even from a young age, she shared how she felt about this issue, and after being shot by the Taliban, a group of people who were against girls getting an education, she became determined to give equal rights to all girls in Pakistan. Malala helps to support three of the goals; goal number 17 (partnership with the goals), goal 5 (Gender Equality) and (Quality Education). I chose her as my hero because she shows us that you can do anything you put your mind to, and everyone deserves equal rights.
