It's important to be brave and fearless like Malala because she got shot and she still fights. You also need to have kindness so you help people and you are kind to everyone. It's important to have kindness like Malala. She has kindness to help girls around the world get education. The last thing you need to be a hero is to have courage. Malala has courage because she believes in herself.

Malala is a 15-year-old girl who fights for girls education. 65 million girls are not allowed to go to school around the world. Malala was not allowed to go to school and other girls could not go to school, so Malala fought for education. One day Malala’s father opened a school for girls and boys, so Malala went to that school to learn to read and to write. One day Malala got shot in the head for trying to go to school and survived. Malala and her family rushed to England for the hospital. It took months for Malala to get better. Malala had to have a metal plate inserted into her head to fix the piece of skull that had been damaged and she also had to remove her left ear. Malala is still a fighter even though she got hurt and it is not safe to go back to Pakistan.

Malala was born on July 12, 1997 in Pakistan. Her father liked to teach Malala to read and write. Girls were not allowed to go to school so Malala’s father opened a school for girls and boys. Malala went to her father’s school for a while. Malala got shot in the head by the Taliban for trying to go to school. Next the Taliban told Malala if she came back they would hurt her again. Finally Malala was better and started to speak out for girls' education. Malala won a Nobel Peace Prize and was only 15 when she was shot. Malala still speaks out for girls education even though she cannot go back to Pakistan safely.

Malala’s biggest accomplishment in life was that after she got shot she would still fight for education and would not give up even if that meant getting hurt again. Malala faced two challenges in her life. First she was not allowed to go to school so she could not have a job or get an education. Second, she was treated unfairly because she was a girl!

Malala is a hero because she is brave, courageous, and determined. She’s determined because after she got shot in the head she did not give up. She’s brave because she risked her life giving speeches. That’s why Malala is a hero.
