"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice anywhere."
Have you ever imagined how it would feel living in a segregated country like the U.S in the 1900’s and needing to stand up for you and others rights to live together and not be called different or not normal, well MLK did, he stood up for people so life wouldn’t be so separated and segregated, he put others in front of himself, even knowing people didn’t like what he was doing he still did it for the greater good.
MLK was born January 15 1929, he was born in the late twenties on the verge of the Great Depression. MLK was born in Atlanta Georgia where he lived in a family home with his mother and two siblings (Christine King and A.D. King). All kids played the piano as their instrument and loved to play sports such as Football.
MLK was a key activist in the American civil rights movement, King's iconic speech “I Have A Dream” is widely remembered for standing up for people and their rights. MLK is an example of how one individual can enact immense social change. King fought to eradicate racial segregation across the United States.
Martin Luther King had many traits such as bravery, when he stood up for people even when others didn’t like what he was doing. He even received death threats, but still did what was right. Another trait of Martin Luther King is determination because he went through tons of struggles and problems to get what he and others wanted, he helped people by staying in it and being very determined.
