            Michael Jordan’s childhood was very hard and rough. Michael Jordan was born on February 17, 1963. Michael's family was not as wealthy as other families. He lived in a small house in Brooklyn, New York. But His mom encouraged him so much to stay off the streets and to live a normal life.

            Michael Jordan is one of the best basketball player ever. Michael won 6 NBA championships and averaged over 20 points per game. Also during his career, he scored over 2,000 points in his career. He additionally was loved for his dunks and crazy plays and shots.

            Jordan was not just a basketball star. He also was very inspirational and encouraging. As a child Jordan got kicked from his high school basketball team for not being good enough and for being too short. The next year Jordan worked very amazingly hard and made the team. Michael Jordan then was the star of his team and had big impact on society.

            Michael Jordan was not just a good basketball player, he had other qualities too. First he was very generous. When Michael retired he donated to many charities. In addition, Michael was very inspirational. He was not born a gifted basketball player. Jordan practiced every day and never gave up on his dreams to be in the NBA. Finally, Jordan was a hard worker. Michael got kicked from his varsity team because he was not good enough. After that he was determined, he practiced every day and the next year he made the team. Those are some qualities that every person should have.
