My Marvellous Mum features my mom against a crisp green-and-white striped background. She’s wearing a soft pink top and a sky-blue bucket hat. Those clean, straight lines remind me that she will always be strong and protect me, no matter what. The gentle pink of her lovely top brings to mind the bright, positive smile she wears every single day. I can almost feel a warm glow surrounding me when she’s near. Her gorgeous sky-blue bucket hat fills my world with calm and kindness, making every day feel peaceful and safe. She is my hero, for all the wonderful, kind and thoughtful things she does for me. To me, my mom is like a warm, cuddly teddy bear—she makes me feel cozy and secure at every moment. Even if she were to leave this world one day, she will always be the warm, shining light that guides my life forward.
