This is a portrait of my dad. The layered blue tones symbolize his calm tenderness—like a steady ocean that soothes our family—and his gentle time with me. My hero is my dad because he is very useful to our home: he fixes broken things, listens to me when I am talking, and works hard every day to give us a warm life. Those quiet efforts are his heroic acts. Through this artwork, I use smooth brushstrokes and harmonious blue gradients to capture his gentle nature and reliable presence, expressing my gratitude for his silent protection and defining a hero as someone who loves their family more than anything.
