Taken from a motivational parable, Vibha reminds us that failure is a part of learning and tells us a story about an elephant who gave up trying.
ONE MAN WAS PASSING BY A WAY SAW AN ADULT ELEPHANT TIED WITH A WEAK ROPE, SUDDENLY THAT MAN THOUGHT IT IS VERY EASY FOR AN ADULT ELEPHANT TO BREAK THAT ROPE BUT THAT ELEPHANT WAS NOT MAKING ANY EFFORT FOR BREAKING THE ROPE. AT SOME DISTANCE HE SAW AN ANIMAL MASTER AND HE WENT CLOSE TO HIM AND ASKED THAT THE ELEPHANT IS MUCH MORE STRONGER THAN THAT ROPE SO WHY HE IS NOT MAKING ANY EFFORT TO BREAK IT. THE MASTER ANSWERED THAT WHEN THESE ELEPHANTS ARE YOUNG AND NOT ABLE TO BREAK THESE ROPES, THEY START THINKING THAT THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF BREAKING THAT ROPE EVER. AFTER SOME TIME THEY ARE HABITUAL OF THESE ROPES AND NEVER AGAIN TRY TO BREAK THE ROPE BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOST ALL THEIR HOPES THAT THEY CAN DO IT SO THAT THEY NEVER RUN AGAIN FROM OUR CLUTCH.
WikiMORAL OF THE STORY = NEVER STOP TRYING IN LIFE OR YOU WILL BE FOREVER BE IN EVERYONE'S CLUTCH.
THANK YOU!
