Yes, the ceiling has been broken, but we are still surrounded by shards of glass. Each piece of clothing on the line represents an influential woman who pushed against barriers and opened up the sky above for others to rise. We need gender diversity in leadership and innovative roles, especially in STEM as they have been traditionally limited. The empty space at the end is intentional. It symbolizes the progress still unfinished and the place I hope to earn someday amongst these women.
