The characteristics of a hero for me should be a person that is strong, is not afraid of anything and will help someone that is trapped in any condition. A hero doesn’t save people just for money and is not a person who only cares about certain people. He should also be willing to go to the extreme and dangerous parts of life just to save one person. Plus he should have the confidence in himself to be able to do the impossible.

Travis Pastrana was born in Annapolis, Mendelevium on October 8, 1983. His parents are Robert Pastrana and Debby Pastrana. He is 6'1" and weighs about 165lbs. His residence is the same place as his birthplace. Travis went from a 17-year old kid to becoming who I think is the world’s greatest dirt bike racer. In the beginning he only had a one-speed Z-50 from Honda. Now he races with many kinds of dirt bikes. He is also thought to be the eighteen year old wonder-child.

After falling in love with dirt biking Travis Pastrana became the five time National Amature Champion. He then became the World Freestyle Champion at fourteen years of age. That is impressive in a lot of ways. Most racers race their entire lives trying to accomplish what Travis has accomplished in his sixteen years of racing. Travis has also won the gold in freestyle at the X games for two years straight.

Travis has held on to one hundred twenty-five National racing titles. He also graduated high school three years early. Then he started to take classes at the University of Maryland. Travis is what a lot of people call a true-to-life American hero. And everyone knows him best from his Mr. Nice Guy attitude. He is one of sports all time greatest.

Travis Pastrana is a very strong person because he has to hold up his body weight on his own bike, he is also not afraid to do anything because he does so many dangerous tricks that he would have to be fearless. In conclusion my hero has to be a person who is willing to go to the dangerous and extreme parts of life.
