"His marksmanship became renown not just within
the American military" (Klein). Chris
Kyle was a Navy Seal sniper, who is credited for having the most kills in U.S
military history. He mad 160 kills in war. Kyle was born on April 8, 1974 in
Odessa, Texas. As a kid he enjoyed hunting, which sparked his interest in
becoming a snipe. Initially, Kyle wanted to be a cowboy but after he got into
an accident he decided to go his second route and join the Navy, because he was
very patriotic and believed in his country.
Chris Kyle is a brave because he courageously
fought in war and saved many other ground units. Kyle served in the Navy Seal
team 3, which is one of the highest teams in U.S military. "Over the course of
his 10 year military career, Kyle served four combat deployments in Iraq
(bio)." This quote shows how brave Chris Kyle was for going into 4 tours of
duty. He got scarred from all the explosions and gunshots in his first
deployment in war but still managed to persevere and go to 3 more tours. "Chris
Kyle joined the Navy in 1999, where he quickly gained admittance to the SEAL's
the forces elite special operations unit. (Bio)." This quote is significant because
it shows how joining the Navy was a perfect job for him. Especially because he
quickly gained admittance to the Navy seal program, which has a very vigorous
training. Also Chris Kyle is known as the deadliest sniper in America which
proves that.

Chris Kyle is selfless because in missions he
defended other soldiers by bravely leading them. Being a sniper he had the
responsibility to overlook all the ground units. Enemy insurgents could come
with weapons and attack ground units. So all the pressure would affect him
during missions. "Chris couldn't bear to
see the Marines struggling helplessly in the street, 'when you see an injured
man you do whatever you can to save him' (Greenblatt)." This shows how Kyle
would do anything to protect the Marines. He chose to courageously step into
war and fight for his country, so he knew he had to do everything to protect
soldiers. In Iraq he was known for his deadly accuracy. "Unlike any sniper
before him. Chris Kyle performed his with pinpoint accuracy. As a sharpshooter
in Iraq, that job had deadly results. (Klein)" This quote shows Chris Kyle's
expertise in his career. He made 160 kills in his career, which beat any sniper
before him. Also his pinpoint accuracy saved many ground soldiers because he
took out any insurgents that were carrying weapons and had the goal of
attacking ground units.
Chris Kyle is an inspiration because after he
came back from war he created foundation to help soldiers suffering from PTSD. He
died in 2013 trying to help a former Marine, Eddy Ray Routh who suffered from
PTSD. One day he, he and his friend Chad Littlefield went with Routh to help
him talk about his problems, the first stop was a shooting range. But over
there he gunned down both Kyle and Littlefield who was trying to help him. He
died trying to help a soldier who he felt the pain of.
