Black successful women

They say the definition of a hero is someone that you admire or look up to. My hero in this lifetime of mine is any black successful woman. The reason why I say any black successful woman is because at one point in life black women weren't able to do or become anything in life. For example they were beat if they knew how to read or write. Now you have black successful women who are lawyers, doctors, teachers, actresses,and even mayors. They stood up for what they wanted and overcame every problem that they had to face to get where they are now.

They say this is a white world but when you have strong black sisters who came from nothing, becoming something. Notice that it's a change. They went from living on the streets, having babies at young ages and not having a mother or a father there telling them right from wrong. It's hard but as you can see if you really put your mind to it "you can be all that you can be." For example look at Keysha Cole she came fome nothing to being an important person in this world today.

Keyshia Cole is a hero to anybody who wants to become a singer, she had to go through not being able to be with her mother because she was in jail. Never knowing who her father was because of all the the problems her mother faced with the streets,men, and drugs. Keyshia was separated from all her brother and sisters,not even meeting all of them.she lived with different families and at one point out on the streets with no where to go. Now as you can see she is out making music that everybody loves from hits like "Let It Go," "I Changed My Mind," "Should Of Let You Go," and everyones favorite "I Should Of Cheated." She took all the pain and stress that she went through in put it in to her music.

The message Keyshia Cole is trying to get across is no matter what happens in life meaning in the past,present,and future never give up. They're going to be all types of people that are not going to want to see you make it. But don't let them get in your way. Just continue to do what you think is best. It's going to be hard and it's going to seem long but always remenber it will pay off in the long run.
