Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.

My inspiration is Lil Wayne because he one my favorite artist and he a young African American rapper. Not only is he a rapper, he is a writer, a volunteer, and a father. He is one of the biggest names in the music industry.

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans he was relieved that none of his family was there but he was still horrified what happen because he was born in New Orleans. But Lil Wayne expresses his feelings by making a song music . Lil Wayne built a lot of thing like a park for kids and built homes for people. I guest he real want to do something about it because he didn’t join a group to help more people he did it on his own he wanted all the money he’s pull into it to go to New Orleans.

The young artist Lil Wayne has been rapping since he was 9 year old. The reason why he is my inspiration is because him and I went through the same situations in life. Like use drug in a early age. My mom would work in till the night and I would spend most of my time on the street .Lil Wayne did the same thing by spending most of his time in the street and he would go to party and rapping with kid twice his age and rap about the same thing . And I can relate to his music like one his song call misunderstood. And he has record a lot of music with different artist. Lil Wayne got a record deal with cash money record label at the age of 9 year old and he drop his first CD single in 1999 call The Block Is Hot and as drop more CD at the age of 14 but he was in at group call the juvenile but it didn’t work out so he went so low and yet to drop more CD’s.

The young artist is a father to he had a daughter at the age of 16. Around the age 20 – 23 he had want to be with his daughter mother so he move his daughter and his baby mommy to live with him he got married to her and been married to her for 3 year. And a year later they got divorced because she want him to slow down with rapping and he didn’t want that so they got divorced.

Lil Wayne Is my inspiration and a hero to people in New Orleans and a song writer and a father and hope to meet him one day.
