My Canadian hero is Dion Phaneuf and I think he’s the best. He’s on the Calgary Flames and is one of the best defensemen they have. I think that Dion is the best defensemen in the whole NHL. He’s one of the hardest hitters in the league. Dion is cool and I’m going to tell you more about him.

Dion Phaneuf was a good hockey player in his early life. He played hockey since he was in grade one. Dion was a great hockey player when he was younger. He played in the WHL, which stands for Western Hockey League. He played on the team called the Red Deer Rebels. He got on the team by going to the Red Deer Collage and graduating.

Dion Phaneuf is a great hockey player and this is what made him a hero. He played in the world Juniors. He played for Team Canada, he was the best defenseman there. Dion made the western hockey team and because of his encouragement, they did really well. He’s my hero because he encourages people to do stuff that is beyond them and that’s why I picked Dion Phaneuf as my hero.

Dion Phaneuf and his team are doing well in 2007. They are a good hockey team and almost won 9 straight games at home. Dion is getting better and better by training on his days off. He’s in a competition between the best Rookie of the year and the best defensemen awards. If he thinks he can do it then he can.

Dion Phaneuf is my hero. He is my hero because he’s on the Calgary flames defensemen line. He’s my hero because I think he’s the best defensemen ever. Dion is my hero because he’s one of the hardest hitters in the NHL. Dion Phaneuf is a great hero and he will always be a hero in my eyes.
