Chad Reed

by Nick from Fairfield

Chad Reed was born in Australia. He was born on March 15, 1982. That was a great day for all motocross riders because a new legend had been born. His hometown in Australia is Kurri Kurri. He now lives in Dade City, Florida. Chad Reed began riding when he was a little kid in 1986 and turned pro in 1998. He started to race supercross and motocross in the USA in 2002. His first motorcycle was a Yamaha PW 50. He still rides a Yamaha. He has been a pro for 8 years now and he is doing very, very well.

Chad Reed has always ridden a Yamaha and I don’t think he will ever change. He was a two-time Australian supercross winner. He wanted to win a USA supercross and be number one. To me, Chad Reed is number one. I look up to Chad for all my riding and someday I want to be just as good as he is. Chad won the 2004 supercross championship. He achieved his goal that he came to the United States of America to achieve and he never gave up his good attitude.

Chad has tried very hard at what he has accomplished. Chad Reed landed on the podium 15 out of 18 races. If you don’t know what the podium is, it's 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. Chad has always dreamed of this happening and now it has. Chad Reed is my biggest hero of all time.
