Chris reeves was born september 25,1952 in New York city.When he was four his parents devorced(barbra Johnson and franklin reeve) His mother moved to princeton New Jersey with sons chris and ben.She married a banker a few years later. After Graduating from high school,reeve stuided at cornell univercity,While at the same time working as a professonal actor .Christopher is most well know for his role in superman(1978)

i think he is a hero because he has helped many people with injurey and improve the quality of life for people living with disabilities. Some of his hero traits and tasks : 1.He is carring and thoughful because he cares about other peoples lives and not just his own he trys to make others lives better and help them in any way he can 2.He is strong because he will never gie up on what he is doing and even though he was badley injured he still helps peole with the same problems. 3.He is brave and dosent give up because he still continues to try and walk and help other people with there problems.

HE was paralyzed after a horse riding accident(1995). Reeve has not only put a human face on spinal cord injury but he has motivated neuroscientists around the world to conquer the most complex diseases of the brain and central nervous system.foundation (CRPF) is committed to funding research that develops treatments and cures for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury and other central nervous system disorders. The Foundation also vigorously works to improve the quality of life for people living with disabilities through its grants program, paralysis resource center and advocacy efforts.

After graduating from Cornell University in 1974, Reeve pursued his dream of acting, studying at Juilliard under the legendary John Houseman. He made his Broadway debut opposite Katharine Hepburn in A Matter of Gravity in 1976 and then went on to distinguish himself in a variety of stage, screen and television roles with a passion that continues today.

Reeve is also a linsened piolet and also gained 30 pounds playing the role in superman witch was his favorite role he ever played .Reeve continues his directing work in television and film as well as his arts-advisory service as a board member of the Williamstown Theatre Festival. In early 2001, Reeve began combining his directing efforts with his activism when he directed four commercials featuring Ray Romano, Reeve is on the Board of Directors of World T.E.A.M. Sports, a group that organizes and sponsors challenging sporting events for athletes with disabilities; TechHealth, a private company that assists in the relationship between patients and their insurance companies; and LIFE (Leaders in Furthering Education) a charitable organization that supports education and opportunities for the underserved population. Reeve is continuing to do his best to help peole with spinal cord injory or paralization and is still continuing his fight to walk ,a day that will soon come.
