I drew a portrait of a professor, Lee Ji-sun, who is a car-crash survivor. During the car-crash she suffered a terrible burn all over her body and had to go through several surgeries to re-build her facial structures. Despite such adversity, she did not give up on her dream to become a professor, maintaining her faith in god to continue on with her journey. Therefore, I was inspired by her resilience and determination in the pursuit of her aspirations, which is why I decided to dedicate this art to this professor.
