This piece is a tribute to my hero Sally Ride and it incorporates references to her career and achievements.
This piece is a tribute to my hero Sally Ride and it incorporates references to her career and achievements. My drawing of Sally Ride is rather straightforward and minimal which expresses her belief that she saw her self as nothing more or less than an Astronaut. Also, I used very few colours and made sure to include both the colours of and the American flag itself in the design, as Sally Ride was the first American Astronaut.
