Robin Hood was a brave and bold outlaw. He with his merry band of friends, he roamed through Sherwood Forest robbing the rich and helping the poor. He dressed in Lincoln green color clothes. He and his friends evaded the sheriff of Nottingham who was determined to catch him. But the sheriff did not succeed in catching him. He rebelled against the taxation laws imposed on the people that made poor people more poorer and rich people more richer. Later, due to Robin’s good deeds to the poor, King Richard forgave him and made him an Earl. He married Maid Marion.
He is my hero because he was brave and strong. He helped the poor and needy. He had a big and a kind heart. Although Robin Hood is a myth, I am impressed by his selfless desire to sacrifice and fight against injustice being done to the common folks. Though he might not be real, for me there are people like him in this world such as policemen, firefighters and doctors who sacrifice themselves to help the community.
