Rosa was what was then considered a colored person. That time was difficult for colored people, but she fought for her rights and the rights of black people as a whole. One day she refused her seat to a white man on the bus and was condemned for her behavior. She was an activist in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. She received many awards during her lifetime, such as the Martin Luther King Jr. Award. She was a very brave person, strong, willing and she never gave up. She was a powerful woman and an inspiration, tolerant and a role model.
