My hero is Michael Schumacher, one of the best Formula 1 drivers. And his nickname is “Schumi”. Michael Schumacher was born in Germany in 1969. He is widely recognized as being the world's best ever racing driver. In 1986, he first raced in Karting, his hometown when he was 14. He won third place in the race. When Schumi was 21, he won the championship in F3 car racing in Germany and then in Macau and Fiji as well.

1991 was the first time Schumi entered the Formula 1 car racing on behalf of the Jordan Team. In 1995 Schumi became the youngest double Formula 1 World Champion (1994 and 1995 seasons) ever. Besides, he is also the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 World Champion. In 1996, Schumi entered the Ferrari Team and he won third place with the total score of 54. This year was very crucial for Schumi because he became a central figure in Formula 1. Since 1994, Schumi has won the World Champion for seven times.

In 1998 and 1999, Schumi’s main rival is McLaren’s driver, Mika Hakkinen, but unfortunately Schumi lost. Finally in 2000, Schumi won the World Champion and started the Dynasty of Ferrari. Ferrari had won over other teams until Renault’s driver Fernando Alonso defeated Schumi and won the World Championship in 2005. In the 2006 season, Schumi hoped that he could win the World Championship and retire from Formula 1, but unfortunately he just won second place.

Michael Schumacher broke the record of Formula 1 Racing for most career wins, most wins in a season, most career pole positions, most points during a season, most consecutive world championships, most consecutive race wins, most podiums finishes, most laps leading and most fastest laps.

Besides his great achievement in car racing, he was also involved in developing racing cars. This was why he could be a successful car racing driver. Schumi entered over 200 car races. In the racetrack, he did not care about other drivers because challenging himself was the driving force.
