As chaos challenges balance in our world, here’s a story about someone who knows how to listen for what makes sense. Saint Joseph Sister Marion Defeis had a calling as a teenager. That was nearly eighty years ago.

She has lived her 91 years well and wise in service of those unprotected in our world. Among her accomplishments, she came to national media attention when her advocacy helped change NY drug laws to free innocent women, wrongly imprisoned.

A lifelong servant of women at risk and so man y others, she joins me for a look back and forward in this story as part of my series SOUL BUTTER.
