My definition of a hero is someone who is brave, someone who isn't afraid to get dirty, someone who is willing to put his life on the line to save another. Someone like..... Spider-Man

Spider-Man (A.K.A. Peter Parker) is a true hero. He saves people from certain death from extreme circumstances with his amazing spider powers. He received his powers from a radioactive spider bite on a high school field trip in New York City, NY. Spider-Man can climb up buildings with his bare hands and shoot/spin webs from his wrists. By the way ..... his arch nemeses are Venom and Carnage. Venom is a symbiote from outer space that took control of Eddie Brock, a friend of Parker's. Carnage is also a symbiote from outer space that took over Cletus Kasady, a serial killer on the run.

I picked Spider-Man because he is a perfect picture of what a hero should be. He is courageous, honest, and would help any person in need for no reward, just out of the goodness of his heart.
