SPONGEBOB SQUARE PANTS Stephen Hillenburg, the creator and exclusive producer of SpongeBob SquarePants was born in Aug. 21, 1961. His profession was Television producer, Television scriptwritter, Theatrical producer, Author, Dramatist.

On November 23, 2001, a three-dimensional model of the immensely popular title character of Nickelodeon’s animated televison series was created, SpongeBob Square Pants. SpongeBob, a wee, childlike, fantastical sea creature come human who resembles an ambulatory, antropomorphic, kitchen sponge, is the creation of Stephen Hillenburg. He is also the executive producer of the series, which is currently the top-rated TV show among children ages two to 11 and enjoys considerable popularity among adults as a well.

When he was in his early 30’s, he began to draw cartoons. Since 1992 he had done SpongeBob squarepants as an imitation of himself, because friends of his had told him he had a square back. When he did the character, he decided that it will be a yellow sponge with big eyes, many wholes and square pants as his body. The character is a sweet, innocent guy. He always does dumb things, but he is always optimistic of all the things and always tries to be the best. His biggest dream is to be the manager at Mr. Krabs restaurant.

After that, people started to like his cartoons, so he decided to make more characters. The second character he did it was Patrick, who is sponge bob’s best friend, and his neighbor too. The phrase that Patrick always use is “Uh...I...uh...forget.”, because he is a little bit dumb. Patrick is always encouraging Bob and offering his advice, but he is not the brightest, he is dumb too, and always gets Bob into trouble. Patrick will always be SpongeBob’s loyal buddy.

I consider SpongeBob SquarePants my hero because I like very much his way to be. He is just to sweet with all the people and that’s something I like a lot about the character I have chosen to be my hero. SpongeBob SquarePants does not have super powers, or is strong, nor things like that, but what like about him is his sense of humor. He is an innocent guy, and so is Patrick, but they are both dumb so that’s a big problem for them.
