My aunt and I |
A hero doesn't have to save a life. It could be someone who did something that you admire. A hero is someone who is always there for you. A hero can be someone who does something without being recognized. Heroes could be brave or even scared for what is going to happen next. They influence you in some way or another. My aunt, Sherry Stein, didn’t save a life. She simply lived hers.

My Aunt Sherry with her older daughter Randi |
My hero is my aunt, Sherry Stein. Sherry was born in Montreal, Quebec. She is now living in Vancouver, British Columbia. Sherry is the middle child. Sherry was a teacher until she had her first child, Randi, followed by her second daughter, Lori. After she got her children settled in school. She went back to work as a P.R representative for the Y.M.H.A. Now she is working at The Fraser Institute. In her spare time, she enjoys doing several art activities and spending time with the people she loves. Sherry makes the best out of every situation. She always has a smile on her face.
After the terrible loss of her younger daughter Lori in a car accident, she had to continue life without her. She not only had to suffer the loss of her daughter, but had to be strong for everyone else. She is not a typical hero you hear about. She is one you barely notice.
My aunt is important to me for several reasons. One of the reasons is that she is always there for me, supporting and encouraging me in whatever I do. The other reason why she is my hero is because after you lose someone you love, you usually can’t go back to how things were. She continued living and loving life. I respect and admire my aunt for what she has accomplished and will accomplish.
