Stephen Curry was born on March 14, 1998. He was born in Akron, Ohio, although was raised in Charlotte. Stephen Curry led a very opulent childhood considering his father playing in the NBA. Stephen Curry’s brother, Seth Curry, now plays for the Dallas Mavericks another NBA team. Stephen Curry is married to Ayesha Curry, and they have two daughters named Ryan Carson Curry, and Riley Curry. Ayesha Curry was born on March, 23, 1989, and Riley Curry was born July, 19, 2012, and Ryan Carson Curry was born on July, 10, 2015. The first person that noticed his potential and believed he could go far was Bob Mckillop. Stephen Curry is a hero because he is helpful to others, a leader, and he is caring. This is why Stephen Curry is my hero.

     The first trait that he has is helpful to others. I think that Stephen Curry is very helpful to many people. One reason why Stephen Curry is helpful to others is because he donated 400 cans of food to kids in Oklahoma who needed the food. Stephen Curry also started a campaign to donate money to people that need to fight malaria around the world. Another reason why Stephen Curry is helpful to others, is because he took in two dozen kids to his own basketball camp and taught them how to play basketball really well. I agree with what Stephen Curry has done for people that needed money or clothing.

     Another trait that I think Stephen Curry has is he is a leader. He is a leader because he leads a lot of charities that do good for communities around the world. A charity that he leads, called “Kickin’ It”, inspired him to donate 20,000 pairs of shoes to kids in Africa. He helps his team in many ways, he scored 30 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and one block to lead them to a very important victory in the playoffs(2016-2017). After this game his teammates, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant both said that he was a leader on and off the court. Stephen Curry is usually a starter unless he is hurt or badly injured, people on the Warriors look up to him as a regular starter. Stephen Curry used his basketball for leadership off the court by shooting three pointers to raise money for Hurricane Harvey relief during a basketball event.  

     Another trait that I think Stephen Curry has is he is caring!  During halftime in one game a girl was trying to raise money for her family by making shots in with a basketball. She had not made any with only a few chances left, Stephen Curry came and helped her raise money. He contributed to giving out food to a charity that has made kids in Oakland have a bigger supply of food. Stephen Curry is also caring because he never made anything about himself he always gave lots of credit to his teammates and averages a lot of assists a game. These are a few reasons why Stephen Curry is caring and is my hero.

     In conclusion, Stephen Curry is my hero. Stephen Curry is my hero because he is very caring to others. He cares for charities and communities all around the world for the better. Stephen Curry is also a hero because he is a leader to many people. He is a leader because he leads many charities and he also leads his team in basketball. Another reason why Stephen Curry is my hero is because he is helpful to others. He is helpful to others because he donates and raises money for good causes to help kids and adults all over the world. This is why Stephen Curry is my hero.
