In my daily life, I often realize that there is a complex relationship between the self I present to others and my true self. They are interrelated yet distinct. Therefore, I used painting and collage to showcase the relationship between my outer self and inner self. I used bright, bizarre colors and various collage materials to demonstrate the process of how my inner and outer self oppress each other, to how I struggle in the midst of their conflict, and how I eventually found a balance point between them to achieve self-growth. In this work, 

I used the red pool to create a conflict with the cold color, showing the conflict between the outer and inner self.
