She is a Taiwanese badminton player. She is twenty-five years old. She lives in Kaohsiung. She is the world No. 1 in the women’s singles. When she loses the game points, she never gives up. She practices hard to improve herself in every way. She is my favorite player, and she is my hero, too.

In November 2015, she participated in the Hong Kong Badminton Super Tournament. In that competition, she injured her heel, but she didn’t stop practice and took good care of her heel. She went to the Dubai Super Series Finals in December of the same year. Because she had an injury, she lost the game. After she came back to Taiwan, she couldn’t go abroad to play during that time. Tai didn’t complain about anything. She just kept herself in a good condition. When she got well, people asked her what she had done and how she felt on those days. She said she lost weight, and she found that losing weight can help her move faster. She also said although losing weight made her hit the ball weaker, she would do more retraining to return to the peak of her career. In 2016, when her heel recovered, she went to the Indonesian Badminton Super League. In this tournament, she became the world No. 1 in the women’s singles.

Now, she is still the world No.1. Her hard work and perseverance makes her dream come true. Although it’s difficult to realize, but she does it. She lets the world see Taiwan. If she gave up, she would never have the same achievements as now. From her story, I learn that if you have dreams, just try your best. When you realize your dream, you will thank yourself for your previous efforts. Just do it!
