I am the parent of a young artist who created this painting to honor firefighter Omid Abbasi. We're sharing this artwork to spread awareness about his heroic sacrifice and to inspire others with his story of bravery and selflessness
Omid Abbasi was a selfless firefighter who, during an incident, entered a burning house. Inside, he found a little girl, gave his own oxygen mask to her, and saved her life. After getting out of the fire, he was hospitalized due to excessive smoke inhalation and passed away a few days later. Even after his death, he saved several other lives by donating his organs.
