The Fighter

I always have wanted to paint heroes who not many people know about. This year, I zeroed in one truly anonymous hero. I had read about this lady in a news paper article. I was mesmerized by her story. She lived in a remote village that did not even have electricity. She had to gather fallen branches and leaves to use as cooking fuel. Even then, she had the dream to educate her children and ensure they live a life more fruitful. She used to work day in and ay out and her dreams kept her going. Her story was so inspiring. Shows how far human beings can go if they have strong convictions. I loved to paint her and her little daughter. Thank you for allowing me to share with you my emotions.
